ZIMBABWE’S Luke Musikiri pulled another stellar performance, grabbing a brace in a 4-1 win over Namibia in quarter finals of the Copa Coca Cola Africa Cup on Tuesday.

In their penultimate match of the Pan African tournament, Zimbabwe will on Wednesday face Zambia who qualified for the semis after running riot on poor Angola 8-1.

Musikiri who is doing form 2 at Prince Edward High school, brought his scoring record to a total of 6 goals in three matches.

Prolific goal scorer Musikiri told Lowveld Post that he is quite elated to be part of the Zimbabwean team and he owed his goal scoring prowess to Belgium international striker Romelu Lukaku.

“I was very happy when l was granted the opportunity to showcase my skills, representing Zimbabwe at this tournament and it was my dream to be part of this team.

“When it comes to my scoring secret, I download videos of Lukaku, thereby learning a couple of skills and this is very useful to me,” said Musikiri.

He did his primary education at Checheche primary in Manicaland before being offered a scholarship by Prince Edward for secondary education in 2017.
